We ar proud to announce that Totem Plus ECDIS was recently approved by DNV-GL as Track Control system,together with Raytheon Anschutz or Yokogawa Auto pilots.

The new Track Control system is designed to keep the vessel on a selected pre-determined route with unlimited number of waypoints.

This is also an opportunity to share the fact that,Totem Plus ECDIS was used successfully on unmanned surface vessels (USV), combining the Track Control Functionality with the Collision Avoidance DST. The combined functionality allows the vessel to be fully autonomous with route keeping, collision avoidance and danger/obstruction avoidance capabilities.

Although such functionality is not applicable or approved to ocean going vessels, unmanned ships may become a reality sooner than believed.
